What's your browser ?

Like the title says, what's your preferred choice of browser and why.

I was having problems a couple of weeks ago with IE8, so I decided to try out some other browser, I tried FireFox, which I thought was ok, but nothing special and really no better than IE8 [except it didn't keep crashing]. Then I tried Chrome, and although it's still really a Beta I found it to be quite good. The main good points for me are.. It's really quick, especially with multiple tabs and images, and also it has a built in spell checker.. Ideal for me, as my spelling really sux [], I've found not only do I make less spelling errors now, but I'm also being taught how to spell.. Bonus.

Anyway post a vote and let us know what you think .

I use Firefox 3.6, Opera Mini 5 beta on my android phone (it compresses everything via their servers, so you get a decent browsing experience even on GPRS). Firefox used to be really slow opening for me, but it seems to be better with 3.5 on, its worked well for me for years so I've not really bothered with trying anything else.

Opera 10.5 is very nice and quick, try it out, I think I'll swap when I get round to installing 7 on here.

Yeah, I got some 1st hand experience of Opera the other day as my brother uses it, and I must say I couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Firefox was always the quickest for me but it is gradually slowing down. I believe IE 9 is coming soon :s

Im on FF. Resisted for a while but decided to go for it and havent really looked back.
Only thing that annoys me is that when they do an update to it, it generally means half the plugins I have arent compatible any more.

Firefox! It's sexy, except for when it slows right down because they haven't optimised stuff properly

If you have the 64 bit version you should also have the 32 bit version, there's no difference between them I can tell.. Except the 32 bit version knows how flash works. I think it's in program files x86.

Really Adobe should have sorted this by now.

Ive been using FF for years, but its getting slower and slower and using more and more CPU. Tried Opera and seems to be working quite good so guess ill stick with that for now
